Military March in Astana: Defense Ministry Notifies Residents

The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan has addressed the residents of Astana and nearby regions regarding the movement of military equipment on March 13.

According to the announcement, as part of the combat training program of the Armed Forces, military personnel of the Akmolinsk garrison will conduct marches on combat vehicles in designated areas near the city of Astana.

These activities are being carried out as part of the next stage of a comprehensive check of the combat readiness of the forces and means of the garrison's military units.

During this period, temporary traffic restrictions on roads, including the Karaganda highway, may be in place as military vehicle columns pass through the suburbs of the capital.

In this regard, the Ministry asks citizens to understand and remain calm about the conducted activities. Furthermore, it urges social media users not to spread fake messages and videos about the movement of military equipment and to trust only official sources of information.

Additionally, military personnel from Almaty congratulated World War II veteran Olga Andreevna Savenko on International Women's Day.
