No Casualties or Damage Reported After Earthquake in Kyrgyzstan, Says Emergency Ministry

According to the preliminary information from the Institute of Seismology, on March 19th at 21:05 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 on the MSK-64 scale was registered in Kyrgyzstan. The earthquake was felt with a magnitude of 3 in the villages of Kashka-Suu and Tash-Dobe in the Alamudin district of the Chui region.

In the capital city of Bishkek, as well as in the villages of Kun-Tuu in Sokuluk district, and Archaly, Arashan, Koy-Tash, Baytik, Tash-Bulak, and Almaluu in the Alamudin district of Chui region, the tremors were recorded with a magnitude of 2.5. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 8 kilometers southwest of Kashka-Suu village and 33 kilometers southwest of Bishkek. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties or damage caused by the earthquake, as confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
