The Department of Internal Affairs of Chui region has initiated an investigation into a robbery at a mosque in the village of Alexandrovka. A local resident reported the incident at the Moscow district police station, stating that unknown individuals broke into the mosque on Zapadnaya Street on the night of March 23 and stole 5,000 soms from the donation box. The thieves also attempted to open the iron safe and damaged the surveillance cameras, resulting in 20,000 soms in total damages.
The case has been registered at the Moscow district police station, and pre-trial proceedings are underway. A procedural decision will be made in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
