The Ministry of Defense has announced that there will be no Victory Day parade in Bishkek this year. Instead, a solemn meeting-requiem dedicated to the 79th anniversary of Victory will be held at Victory Square. The event will be attended by political and military leadership, war and labor veterans, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and foreign military missions accredited in Kyrgyzstan, along with the general public, youth, schoolchildren, and guests of the capital.

The meeting-requiem will conclude with a ceremonial march by the personnel of units from the Bishkek garrison. Additionally, an international campaign called the "Immortal Regiment" is planned to take place.

Furthermore, open house days will be held in all military units and institutions of the Armed Forces, while general education schools across the country will organize traditional lessons on courage in honor of Victory Day.
