Veterans and WWII Participants to Receive Monetary Support for Victory Day

Disabled individuals and WWII participants are set to receive 20.4 thousand soms each by May 9th, as announced by the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration. The total allocation for Victory Day payments is 9,934.5 thousand soms.

A total of 637 individuals will receive one-time payments, including:

- 5 disabled WWII veterans receiving 20,600 soms each

- 23 WWII participants receiving 20,400 soms each

- 8 former underage prisoners of war receiving 20,400 soms each

- 11 individuals awarded the "For the Defense of Leningrad" medal and the "Resident of the Blockaded Leningrad" badge receiving 20,400 soms each.

Additionally, 1 parent or widow/widower who did not remarry of a soldier who died in WWII will receive 15,200 soms, while 589 individuals awarded orders and medals of the USSR for dedicated work and impeccable military service during WWII will receive 15,100 soms each.
