In 2023, six employees of the prosecutor's office have been held criminally responsible, while 10 individuals have been relieved of their duties. This was announced by the Attorney General Kurmankul Zulushev during a joint session of parliamentary committees on constitutional legislation and law enforcement.

According to his report, last year, over 500 prosecutor's office employees faced disciplinary action for inadequate performance. Additionally, 167 prosecutors were awarded titles and honors.

It is worth noting that members of the Jogorku Kenesh are reviewing Kurmankul Zulushev's annual report on the state of legality in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2023 and the efforts made by the prosecutor's office to strengthen it.
