Border checkpoints with China will be closed on May 1. This was reported by the Information and Communications Department of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the department, at the initiative of the Chinese side in connection with the celebration of Labor Day in the People's Republic of China, the border checkpoints "Torugart-Avtodorozhny" and "Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhny" will be temporarily closed on May 1.
The passage of individuals, vehicles, and cargo through the checkpoints will resume on May 2.
