In Kyrgyzstan, 87 police leaders were punished over the course of three reporting months, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Today, on April 26, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is holding a meeting where law enforcement officials are summing up the results for the first three months of 2024.
"By the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs meeting, a total of 87 leaders were disciplined for serious shortcomings in the organization of operational and service activities of the entrusted units over the past three months of this year, one of them has been relieved of their position," the police said.
Furthermore, the work of several other police leaders will be reviewed at the next Ministry of Internal Affairs meeting. The press service noted that today's decision and its implementation regarding the punishment of law enforcement officials are under the control of Minister Ulan Niyazbekov.
