The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has released a commemorative coin dedicated to the anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Starting from April 30, a silver commemorative coin "Eurasian Economic Union - 10 years" from the series "Historical Events" will be put into circulation.
The obverse side of the coin features the official emblem of the EEU, surrounded by images of the flags of the member countries of the EEU, as well as elements of the EEU emblem symbolizing dynamics and development. The jubilee date of the EEU "10 years" is placed on the left side of the coin. Encircling the coin is the inscription "Eurasian Economic Union" in both Russian and Kyrgyz languages.
On the reverse side of the coin, the coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Republic is depicted in the center.
This commemorative coin holds the status of an official means of payment within the territory of the republic. Each coin is placed in an acrylic capsule and packaged in a separate case with a quality certificate attached.
The commemorative coins are available for purchase at the cash desks of National Bank institutions at a price of 5,780 soms each.
The Eurasian Economic Union is an international organization of regional economic integration, formed with the aim of creating conditions for the stable development of the economies of member states. It aims to establish a single market for goods, services, capital, and labor within the EEU framework, promoting comprehensive modernization, cooperation, and enhancing the competitiveness of national economies to improve the standard of living of the member countries' populations.
The EEU consists of five member states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
