Construction sites in Bishkek suspended for failing to comply with city regulations

in News / Kyrgyzstan - by

Construction works have been suspended at five sites in Bishkek due to non-compliance with the municipality's directive, which requires construction companies (contracting organizations) to equip construction sites with wheel washing points for vehicles.

As noted by the city hall press service, municipal inspection inspectors had previously issued 61 orders to construction firms in the capital regarding the necessity of installing wheel washing devices or points for construction equipment by April 29.

"The requirements for the installation of wheel washing devices are given to ensure that special equipment does not violate the beautification rules of Bishkek. The main requirements for construction companies remain the provision of transits, washing gantries, and gravel spreading on the exit territory," municipal officials said.

The decision to suspend work was made during a raid by the municipal inspection. Construction sites will only be able to resume work after the wheel washing point is fully installed.

Work has been temporarily suspended at the following sites:

  • LLC "Garant Stroy Invest" at 164 Budennogo Street;
  • LLC "Emakom" at 24 Kiyizbaevoy Street;
  • LLC O2 Development at 1 Kara-Kulskaya Street;
  • LLC "MacroGroup" at 5/2 Auezova Street;
  • SK LLC "Amanat Group Invest" at 45a Skryabina Street.

The city hall emphasized that SK LLC "Amanat Group Invest" is installing a point at the exit from the site. Raid activities will continue.
