Energy Integration Agreement Signed by Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan for Green Future

Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of cooperation on the integration of the energy systems of the three countries. The document was signed following a meeting in Tashkent of the ministers of economy and energy of the states. The Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikail Jabbarov, announced this on his social media.

The implementation of this document will allow the three parties to collaborate in the production of green energy and its export through Azerbaijan to Europe, ensuring the integration of energy systems and the efficient use of renewable energy sources.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, the participants will explore the possibilities of connecting energy systems by laying a high-voltage cable on the bottom of the Caspian Sea.
