Tragedy Strikes Jalal-Abad: 20 Injured in Collision at Manaschi Competition

In health organizations of Jalal-Abad region, 20 injured individuals are being treated for various injuries as a result of a collision with participants of the young manaschi competition in the village of Zherge-Tal. This was reported by the Ministry of Health press center.

According to the information provided, the head of the department visited the region. He visited and assessed the condition of the children at the Suzak territorial hospital, at the October general practice center, and also participated in a council at the Jalal-Abad regional children's hospital, where five patients are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

  • In the Jalal-Abad regional children's hospital, there are 12 children, out of which 5 are in the ICU.
  • In the Jalal-Abad regional clinical hospital - 1.
  • In the Suzak territorial hospital - 3.
  • In the October General Practice Center - 4.

"The conditions of the other injured individuals are considered to be of moderate severity. It is noted that health organizations have an adequate supply of blood and its components, medications, and medical devices," added the ministry.

Earlier, the Minister of Health, Alymkadyr Beyshenaliev, informed that a total of 34 people were injured as a result of the collision with participants of the young manaschi competition in the village of Zherge-Tal.

The young manaschi competition in the village of Zherge-Tal, Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region, ended in tragedy. The event took place at a dzhailoo, where schoolchildren recited excerpts from the epic poem "Manas". During the recitation, a truck collided with the gathered teenagers. The driver has been detained.
