Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev commented on the tragedy that occurred in Suzak. According to him, law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor's office conducted an investigation. "No terrorist or criminal acts, as some media previously mentioned, were identified. This is negligence, a failure to comply with safety measures. Many mistakes were made in organizing the event. Details should have been taken into account. Parking spaces should have been organized. It was also unnecessary to allow strangers near the children. All these little things resulted in a great tragedy," said Kamchybek Tashiev.
He added that from now on, enhanced attention will be paid to safety measures. Those who do not comply will be held accountable. "Leaders, local authorities, and other entities, whoever they may be, if they violate safety measures, we will investigate and hold them accountable. The President has instructed me to take control of this matter. By the President's order, 200,000 soms each from the presidential fund have been allocated to the children in intensive care. The rest will receive 50,000 soms each. In addition, doctors will hold a council to decide if it is necessary to transport the injured to Bishkek, they will be flown there," noted the head of the GKNB.
