Landslide in Jalal-Abad Prompts Emergency Response, Family Evacuated for Safety

A landslide occurred in the Jalal-Abad region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this incident. The landslide was reported in the village of Chkalov in the Arstanbap village council of the Bazar-Korgon district of the Jalal-Abad region.

An operational group is currently working at the site. It was determined that the landslide was 7,000 cubic meters in volume, posing a threat to one residential house.

Due to the landslide threat, a family has been relocated to a safe location. Additionally, it was found that there are cracks on the surface near the landslide detachment measuring 20-25 centimeters.

It is worth mentioning that in the Bazar-Korgon district, 98 families reside in high-risk areas prone to landslides. Nine of these families are located in this particular village.
