In the Bishkek City Hall, officials have announced the events that will take place as part of the celebration of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
On May 9th at 10:00, a mourning rally will be held at Victory Square with the laying of flowers at the Eternal Flame. Additionally, there will be arrangements for a "soldier's porridge" and a festive concert.
The celebratory events with a concert program will take place in Victory parks named after Dair Asanov, Cholponbay Tuleberdiev, and Panfilov.
Furthermore, in all educational institutions of the capital, class hours, open lessons, contests, and other activities related to the memorable date are being organized.
According to the municipality, there are currently nine veterans of the Great Patriotic War residing in Bishkek.
