The monument "Friendship of Nations" near the building of the Jogorku Kenesh will undergo repairs costing 32 million soms. This information was reported on the state procurement portal. The competition was announced by the capital construction department of the Bishkek mayor's office.
The specifications state that it will be necessary to:
- Dismantle facing of walls and coverings
- Re-sheath with marble or travertine
- Clean and apply protective components to the copper part of the monument
It is worth noting that the central Ala-Too square in the capital has been closed for reconstruction.
