Earthquake Strikes China: Kyrgyzstan Reports Tremors on May 20th

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported that an earthquake occurred in China. According to the Seismology Institute, the earthquake was recorded on May 20th at 11:10 local time. The magnitude at the epicenter reached six points on the MSK-64 scale.

The tremors, with a force of up to 2.5 points, were felt in the villages of Taldy-Suu, Bash-Kaindy, Kazybek, Zhany-Koch of the At-Bashinsky district in the Naryn region. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 148 kilometers southeast of the city of Naryn.

Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties or damage in Kyrgyzstan due to this earthquake.
