Revitalizing Kyrgyzstan's Airports: President Japarov Opens New Terminal in Talas

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov took part in the grand opening of the airport in Talas. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

Sadyr Japarov stated that after a long hiatus in the operation of airports in the regions of the country, the government, together with the international airport "Manas," has taken measures to resume air traffic. The airport in Talas became the first result of this work.

The new terminal with a capacity of 100 people per hour and the modernized runway became the main elements of the updated airport complex. The President highlighted that the project to revive the republic's airports is not limited to Talas. Currently, terminal complexes are being constructed at the international airports of "Karakol" and "Tamchi."

The construction of the "Naryn" airport is completed, with repairs ongoing on the runway. The reconstruction of the runways at the airports of "Kazarmаn," "Kerben," and "Batken" is nearing completion. The international airport "Batken" is already receiving flights. Additionally, for the first time, the international airport "Manas" has acquired Q-400 aircraft for domestic air transportation.
