Fire Destroys Elementary School Building in Issyk-Kul Region

On March 4th, a building of an elementary school in the village of Enilchek in the Issyk-Kul region caught fire. The Ministry of Education and Science press service reported the incident. Despite the fire, classes are still ongoing as students are now being accommodated in the village administration building.

The causes of the fire are currently being investigated by specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Once their report is ready, additional information will be provided. The school building was put into operation in 1970 and is designed for 50 students, but currently, only 23 students are enrolled.

The authorities are working to ensure that the students' education is not disrupted despite the unfortunate incident. Further updates on the situation will be provided as the investigation progresses.
