A citizen who was wanted by authorities has been detained in Bishkek, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD).
According to the MVD, the correctional facility in the Osh region had put out an alert for R.K., a native of the Uzgen district, who had escaped from custody.
Surveillance cameras with facial recognition technology in public areas captured the fugitive in Bishkek. Police officers arrested R.K. and handed him over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
