Criminal Drug Trafficking Group Arrested in Batken Region

A criminal group involved in the production and distribution of drugs has been detained in the Batken region, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service. According to the information provided, a large-scale special operation was carried out by law enforcement officers against the criminal group.

In the town of Kyzyl-Kiya, members of three criminal groups were simultaneously apprehended. During the search, 1 kilogram and 615 grams of hashish were found in their possession. All detainees have been placed in pre-trial detention facilities, as stated in the press release.

The investigation has identified the suspects as A.A., born in 1967, with a history of multiple convictions and known to law enforcement as a member of a drug trafficking group; E.M., born in 1971, also with a history of repeated convictions for similar offenses; and N.M., born in 1977, in whose house a drug laboratory for cultivating hybrid marijuana strains was discovered, along with an illegal drug den.

Necessary expert examinations have been appointed, and investigative actions are being carried out. Currently, measures are being taken to determine the channels through which narcotics are entering the region.
