Deadly Road Accident on Samara-Shymkent Highway in Kazakhstan

A tragic road accident occurred on April 3 on the Samara-Shymkent highway near the village of Marzhanbulak in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan. The news was reported by the Telegram channel Polisia.kz, which publishes news from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.

The accident involved a Volvo truck and a Toyota Alphard minivan driven by a citizen of Uzbekistan. As a result of the accident, the driver of the minivan and seven of his passengers, all citizens of Uzbekistan, died at the scene.

Preliminary data suggests that the tire of the truck burst while in motion, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and veer into the oncoming lane, resulting in the collision.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the road accident. Relevant expert examinations have been appointed, as stated in the report.
