The troops of the Tashkent military district started tactical-special exercises on Saturday, April 6th, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan. The exercises aim to enhance the combat readiness of units, coordinate actions for mutual coherence, assess the skills of movement, and prepare at a professional level. The planned movement of armored vehicles, military light armored vehicles, and trucks of the troops of the military district along established routes in the Tashkent region and the city of Tashkent is part of the training.
Drivers in the capital and Tashkent region were advised to strictly observe traffic rules during the movement of military equipment. The recommendation comes after a tragic incident in November 2018 when a collision between a Lacetti car and military cargo transport in the Kashkadarya region resulted in the loss of three lives. The safety of both military personnel and civilians on the roads is of utmost importance during such movements.
