On March 7th, the Karakalpak Republic, as well as the Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Fergana regional branches of the Republican Center for Emergency Medical Care, received 70 Volkswagen Caddy ambulances assembled at the Jizzakh Auto plant. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
Throughout the past year, the emergency care center received a total of 685 Volkswagen Caddy ambulances. In February 2024, the fleet of regional branches of the Republican Center for Emergency Medical Care was further expanded with 30 more vehicles of the same model.
It was also reported at that time that an additional 170 vehicles are planned to be delivered to the regions by March.
