On March 4th, a meeting was held in Ashgabat at the conference hall of the Yyldyz Hotel between the OSCE Secretary General and the environment ministers of Central Asian countries. The event highlighted the importance of environmental issues in achieving sustainable development goals, with Turkmenistan actively putting forth new initiatives regionally and globally.
A key focus of the discussions was ensuring energy and food security in the region, emphasizing the crucial role of rational water resource management and the development of water diplomacy. Turkmenistan expressed its commitment to further cooperation with international organizations in the field of environmental protection at both regional and global levels.
