Representatives of the Association "Turkmen Logistics" are taking part in the II Regional Meeting of National Committees on Trade Facilitation Procedures (NCTFP) of Central Asian countries within the framework of the Central Asian Trade Forum in Almaty. This was reported by the online publication "TurkmenPortal".
The event is attended by employees of customs and transport authorities, members of institutions responsible for phytosanitary and veterinary control at the border, as well as representatives of the private sector of the Central Asian countries.
During the first session, the participants presented the priority areas for the development of the trade facilitation mechanism. Representatives of international organizations such as GIZ, CLDP, UN ECE, and USAID provided updates on the implementation of relevant programs. A presentation was held on the opportunities of digital technologies such as Green trade facilitation, E-Phyto, CART.is, and the mobile application catMap, which contribute to the simplification of trade procedures.
