On April 12, a Turkmen delegation led by the Deputy Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas," Murad Archayev, participated in a meeting of the Turkmenistan-EU Energy Working Group. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported on the event.
The meeting addressed the directions of Turkmen gas supplies, international cooperation on methane emissions, as well as the expansion of renewable energy installations and doubling energy efficiency worldwide.
Furthermore, the Turkmen delegation met with the Chief of Staff of the European Commissioner for Energy, Stefano Grassi, to discuss enhancing cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU in the energy sector.
During the delegation's meeting with the Chief Energy Diplomacy Advisor of the European External Action Service, Tibor Stelbaczki, particular attention was given to reducing methane emissions, renewable energy sources, and Turkmen gas supplies.
