Today, on April 15, a conference of General Directors of railways of the member countries of the Organization for Cooperation of Railways has started in Ashgabat and will last until April 19. The news was reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
The conference is attended by representatives and leaders of the railways of the member countries of the Organization and four observer countries - Finland, France, Germany, and Greece.
During the conference, the results of the activities of the Organization's commissions and working groups over the past year will be summarized, the action plan for the upcoming period will be discussed, and the question of the feasibility of developing a project for the Organization's Development Strategy will be considered.
At the end of the forum, documents aimed at developing international cooperation in this field will be signed.
