During the meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on May 3, 2024, the General Director of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Mammetkhan Chakyev, presented a report to the President of the country, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, on the results of the activities of the country's transport and communications complex for the period from January to April of the current year. During the specified period, the growth rate of the volume of work performed by subordinate institutions reached 118%. The indicator was 103.5% for freight transportation and 102.6% for passenger transportation. At the same time, the growth rate of services provided by the Türkmendemirýollary agency reached 104.3%, by the Türkmenawtoulaglary agency – 110.5%, by the Türkmendeňizderýaýollary agency – 114.8%, by the Türkmenhowaýollary agency – 161.2%, by the Türkmenaragatnaşyk agency – 111.9%.
